Department of Physiological Sciences and Molecular Biology started in 2004, and covers education of medical and oral biology, physiology and pharmacology for undergraduate students. Our scientific activities cover wide area, and especially focused on the mechanism of apoptosis, bone metabolism, development of stratified epithelium, and ion channel physiology/pharmacology. Most of members in this Department are studying the research projects in collaboration with the Advanced Science Research Center and with Center for Regenerative Medicine, Fukuoka Dental College.
